Flood Damage Clean-up

If a non-sewage flood disaster has occurred in your home or business premises, you will need our fast-response flood water removal service to help you remove the unwanted water from your property so you can quickly return to normality: 

  • We can quickly extract the flood water at high velocity, clean and decontaminate the damaged floors, and use our powerful air movers for quick drying times.

  • We will also deep clean flood-damaged carpets, remove stains and odours, and leave them sanitised.

We do not remove sanitary sewage waste water.

Safety Precautions

The safety of our Blue Pear cleaning personnel and the people around us, is of utmost importance. In such clean-ups where water meets electricity, there is great risk to life - the risk of electrocution. Therefore, prior to Blue Pear extracting the flood water: 

  • The source of leakage needs to be sealed off and the leaking stopped. It may mean a plumber needs to have been called in.

  • If safe to do so, the electricity supply to the property needs to be switched off at the fuse box.  If there is evidence of water inside the fuse box or if there are signs of arcing or overheating, then a registered electrician will need to attend the property, to make access safe.

  • All electrical appliances damaged by the flood water will need to be unplugged from the wall sockets, and removed from the water damaged area (if portable).
